I don't no if everybody knows what UFO means. I think it is from the quiltersworld. UFO means Unfinished Object. I have many UFO's and I think I'm not the only one. Mostly just unfinished objects but also some objects from which I think "this is not what I thought it would be". Between all these objects I found a red logcabin quiltblock of 16 by 16 inches today. This block has been made of leftover strips from another quilt. I don't know why but this block never got any compagnion. Now I have cut it into 4 pieces and I used 2 pieces to make this journal page.

Dag #105 UFO's
Ik weet niet of deze term door iedereen gebruikt wordt maar binnen de
wereld van het quilten is het algemeen bekend. UFO betekent Unfinished
Object. Voor veel mensen en in ieder geval voor mij is het de stapel
halfproducten die ik nog heb liggen. Dingen die nog afgemaakt moeten
worden maar ook dingen waarvan je halverwege bedenkt "dit is eigenlijk
niet wat ik wil". Uit deze stapel heb ik vandaag een rood logcabinachtig
quiltblok van 40 bij 40 cm gepakt. Dit blok heb ik ooit gemaakt van
stroken die overgebleven waren na het maken van een andere quilt. Ik
weet niet meer waarom maar dit blok is altijd alleen gebleven. Nu heb ik
het blok in 4 stukken geknipt en 2 stukken gebruikt om er een journaal
pagina van te maken.
